IEEE-USA's Committee on Transportation
and Aerospace Policy (CTAP) was chartered to contribute to the formulation of sound aeronautics and
astronautics technology legislation, regulation and policy in the United
States. The committee's scope has been expanded to include aviation,
intelligent transportation and
other air, space and ground transportation related issues. The
committee also coordinates IEEE-USA's participation in the Aviation
R&D Coalition.

How to Participate
The Committee on Transportation and
Aerospace Policy (CTAP) invites IEEE
U.S. members who have an interest in public policy coupled with expertise in the field of
aerospace, astronautics, aviation technology, and/or other transportation
modes (including surface transportation, rail and Maglev) and who are willing to be active
contributors to the committee's activities to join the committee as an Internet
Corresponding Member. As an ICM, you will be invited to recommend committee activities,
comment on draft position statements and testimonies, and otherwise participate in the
business of the committee. To become an ICM, please complete and submit the following
