Nominations
Wanted for "New Faces of Engineering"
Nominations
due: 5
September
Young
rising stars in the engineering profession will be featured
prominently during EWeek 2004. The EWeek "New Faces of Engineering"
program spotlights the vitality, diversity and contributions of the
profession's youngest engineers. The IEEE and IEEE-USA are currently
seeking nominations from among the Institute's worldwide membership.
EWeek 2003 co-chairs ASHRAE and Lockheed Martin launched "New
Faces" to showcase talented, young engineers two to five years
out of school doing interesting, unusual or extraordinary work. The
program culminates with a full-page ad featuring the top
individuals in USA Today during National Engineers Week.
In
keeping with the goal to expand EWeek globally in 2004, the "New
Faces" program is accepting nominees from
engineering societies with international chapters.
Five
IEEE members will be profiled on the EWeek
Website, and the top nominee from each sponsoring society will
appear in USA Today during EWeek 2004. To nominate a colleague, download the program description and nomination form in PDF
or Rich Text File (RTF)
format, or complete the online
nomination form.
