About National Engineers Week

National Engineers Week (EWeek) is a celebration of the engineering profession and the engineers who turn ideas into reality. EWeek programs and activities instill a sense of pride among those working in the profession, and spark interest among future generations of potential engineers and technical professionals.

EWeek, held annually in February, is coordinated each year by a steering committee comprised of engineering societies, corporate sponsors, educational institutions and others interested in the national engineering enterprise. The IEEE is the lead sponsoring society for EWeek 2004, to be held 22-28 February. The IEEE's corporate counterpart is Fluor Corporation.

Get Involved
IEEE members are encouraged to get involved by organizing and participating in local EWeek events. Programs like "New Faces of Engineering" and the Future City Competition™ are just a couple of ways to celebrate EWeek.
