The global market-place for goods and services (including engineering services) is becoming increasingly competitive, with more opportunities for engineers to travel and work abroad. To help IEEE's U.S. members access these global opportunities, IEEE-USA is collecting links to various on-line information resources and services, including sites specializing in international job listings. If you are aware of a useful site, drop a note with the URL to Chris Currie at c.currie@ieee.org.

IEEE Resources

IEEE Press has published Michael Goodman's Working in a Global Environment, which covers what engineers need to know about working overseas, country-by-country variations in business culture, and such topics as managing authority, decision making, delegation, work ethics, motivation and hiring and firing.
