You've been out of work for six months or longer. You've rewritten your resume. You've talked to headhunters. You've taken a course on improving your interviewing skills, but you're still unemployed. What more can you do? Come join Sherri Edwards as she provides a follow-up to her successful webinar How to Win in a Competitive Market. Sherri will be providing webinar participants with tactics and methods being used by other longer-term unemployed individuals that are providing them with a leg up on finally landing that next position.

About the Presenter

Sherri Edwards, The Resource Maximizer's Principal, offers coaching for individuals pursuing a career change, by design or through downsizing, merger, or returning from an extended absence from the workplace. Her clients learn how to identify their workplace demand and value, and how to market themselves effectively to obtain the type of work that fuels their passions and allows them to live their dreams.

In addition to providing one-on-one consulting, Sherri conducts job search and strategic networking workshops for small groups, and outplacement classes for private employers. She also provides training classes covering managing multiple commitments, goal setting, effective communication, and conflict resolution.

Sherri has made guest appearances to discuss career related topics on KCPQ 13 Fox News "This Morning," and has presented at job fairs for over 15 years

Sherri is a member of the Lake Washington Association of Human Resource Managers, the American Society for Training & Development, the Puget Sound Career Development Association, the Employment Council, the Washington State Professional Technical Diversity Network, and the Puget Sound Diversity Network. Sherri is also the Chairperson of the Advisory Committee for the Information Technology Department at Renton Community College.
