as they discuss mentoring from both the
perspective of the mentor and the
mentee.
Presenters
Ralph Fallin brings more
than 34 years of diverse technical and
management experience at the Naval
surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren where
he provided leadership for large complex
weapon system and related initiatives.
For five years, he served as the program
manager for a major effort in support of
a missile system for the United Kingdom
and he has twenty-five years experience
as a line manger where he prepared large
organizations for change and new
responsibilities. This work included the
Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile
Program, Space and Surface Systems, and
special Naval and Joint Service
Programs. His major responsibilities
involved research and development of
systems and capabilities, test and
evaluation of software and system
concepts, advancement of technology,
management of resources, and extensive
interfaces with customers, sponsors,
contractors, and other government
agencies.
Currently he specializes in working with
scientists, engineers, technical
specialists, and support personnel to
help them become more successful in
their jobs. He accomplishes this through
personal coaching and mentoring,
facilitating workshops, and providing
general management consultation to
organizations
Mauro Togneri brings
experience In the Industrial
Instrumentation and control industries
where he has worked as an engineer,
independent consultant, owner, Manager,
Vice President, President, and outside
Director. In these roles, he designed
products and systems, founded and
managed the growth of entrepreneurial
technology based companies with
operations in North and South America,
Europe and Asia. Currently Mauro is a
management consultant after retiring in
December 2003 as Vice president and
Group Manager, responsible for a group
of technology companies with sales of
over $40 million and operations in U.S.,
Germany and Japan. He holds more than a
dozen patents.
With IEEE-USA, he works with the
Intellectual Property Committee,
Innovation Institute, and Career
Activities and is co-founder and
co-chair of Entrepreneurial Activities
Committee.
