Dining
The Station Grille is one of the premier St. Louis restaurants,
winner of the AAA Three Diamond Award, with seating for 135
people (private dining is also available). Plan a visit to The
Station Grille Lounge for the opportunity to choose from our
vast selection of cigars on display in the historic One Ton Safe
-- made by the National Safe Company of Ohio and used for the
1904 World's Fair. Aside from these fine St. Louis restaurants,
there's a wealth of food to explore elsewhere: Aldo's Pizzeria
offers pizzas and Italian sandwiches and Aldo's Grocery Store
carries thousands of products for everyone's convenience. Stop
by the Grand Hall Lounge and sip an aperitif while enjoying hors
d'oeuvres. Or relax in the privacy of your own room and enjoy
in-room dining. Whatever your fancy, we can deliver at the
restaurants of the Hyatt Regency St. Louis.
Local
Information
Established as a French trading post in 1764, St. Louis served
as a gateway to the west after the Louisiana Purchase and as a
major port for steamboats traveling the Mississippi. Today the
city's landmark is the soaring, shining steel Gateway Arch,
designed by Eero Saarinen in 1966 to commemorate western-bound
pioneers. Though visitors often make it their first stop,
there's plenty more beckoning, including the restored Union
Station, first-rate museums, and numerous attractions geared
toward children, many of them free, making St. Louis a prime
family destination.
