Development Opportunities

IEEE-USA
is an organizational unit of the Institute of Electrical and
Electronics Engineers, Inc. created in 1973 to support the
careers and public policy interests of IEEE's U.S. members.
Our programs are supported through a special
assessment of IEEE’s U.S. members, through sales of products
and services, and through the generosity of members who make gifts and contributions
through the
IEEE
Foundation for support of IEEE-USA programs.
IEEE-USA
currently accepts gifts and contributions to three Funds:
IEEE-USA Fund: The IEEE-USA Fund is a repository
for unrestricted gifts to support the career and educational
missions of IEEE-USA. Examples of where contributions
have been used include:
IEEE-USA Government Fellows Fund: Gifts support
and sustain IEEE-USA's
Government Fellowship program, which provides
educational opportunities for IEEE U.S. members to spend a
year working in Congress or in the State Department as S&T
advisors.
IEEE-USA National Engineers Week Fund: Gifts are
targeted at supporting IEEE sponsorship of
National Engineers
Week in 2014 and continuing E-Week activities.
Engineers Week is an annual celebration of engineers and the
contributions of engineering to society.
Awards
and Recognitions: IEEE-USA also welcomes any
inquires related to targeted funding support for IEEE-USA's
Awards and Recognitions, or for specific awards.
